Deathseeker - An Original Comic Script The mother of a young shaman girl dies, killed by marauders. The girl is shattered, as her mother is her only family. The rest of the village is razed as well, and she is the sole survivor. Heartbroken, she questions the reason for death, frustrated by the injustice that some lives of value are taken away so easily, while other lives that deserve no better continue to live on. She questions the need for death, and implies immortality. She demands the rights to judge and decide who should live and who should not. Life everlasting for those who have earned it, death to the unworthy. To her surprise, Death appears before her. Death is amused, and challenges her to find Death. If she does, Death will grant her a favour. Death does not specify the favour, nor does She specify how to find Death, leaving the girl to seek out on her own. So begins the journey of a young shaman girl, hell bent on revenge and righting the world’s wrongs. It is on this journey that she will discover and harness her full shaman potentials, and slowly come to understand the workings of the cycle of life and death. -- Deathseeker is still pretty much in its infancy, but I think I've completed the first chapter. Most of the parts I find exciting are in the backstory, which will not be presented for some time to come. I'm trying the pace the history and character details, revealing them piece by piece rather than throwing them all out at one go. However, as I have yet to find an artist, and panelling is a royal pain in the ass, I've only done some crappy panelling for the prologue. I know I'm probably gonna regret this later, but I've decided to rush ahead with the chapter one script and leave panelling for later, when I've found an artist.
